Japan Patent Information Organization (Japio) was established in 1985, and has contributed to the industry and the society by providing high-quality patent information services, as well as by hosting patent information events and playing indispensable parts in various information dissemination activities conducted by the JPO (Japan Patent Office) and the INPIT (National Center for Industrial Property Informaiton and Training).

It is our great pleasure to announce that our official English website has finally been launched to introduce our activities all over the world. This is as yet a small site but we will improve this site as a portal of Japanese patent information. You are always welcome, and any suggestions, comments or inquiries are highly appreciated.
